"Lucky us, we got the Natural Titanium, which looks as unique as a phone can these days"
Honestly, I think we should all take what Ivan writes with a pinch of salt. Obviously this doesn't look as unique as a phone can these days, because it looks exactly like last year and the year before that. Meaning there's people who bought a phone in 2021 who already had this exact design for years. How's that for unique ?
The brushed titanium frame (as opposed to polished stainless steel) is seemingly the only design thing Apple is willing to change.
Yet since the PVD coating is a scratch magnet, this will for sure be enclosed in cases never to be seen again.
And then that's it, 13, 14, 15, there's no telling which is which from across the room. A design that's "unique" is a look that's both never been seen before and instantly recognizable from a distance.
The iPhone is neither.
A few examples : X90 Pro+, S21 Ultra, Find X6 Pro, Pixel 7 Pro.
There's no mistaking such devices with the model of the year before.

With lower price people wouldn't get the phone this year at all, because Apple wouldn't be able to ship enough them 😅
Anonymous, 14 hours agopremium? 60 hz display 15w slow charge tiny battery very premium hahahhahahaPremium as in the build quality and software experience. If I want my phone to fall apart and lag after 6 months I would buy an Android.
Nona, 8 hours agoIs that a thing in iphone world? because in android or any phone basically, we don't have... moreWill have to disagree with you there sorry. Have owned more than my fair share of Android devices over the years, excessive heat and battery drain wasn't uncommon after initial set ups. In fact you could practically fry a egg on some of the Sony's and Samsung's I've had in that time. Again though, this is my personal experience, if you've been lucky enough to avoid such issue's, fair enough.
I'm not a fan mind of when people say stuff like ' because in android or any phone basically, we don't have that,' as though one of you speaks for all of you. 'Android' is a term used to describe 1000's of device / hardware variant's, from dozens of different manufacturers, used by hundreds of millions of people the world over, your telling me none of them have ever had such issues, ever?
If so, again I'll have to respectfully disagree.....
Well I’m going to interested to read this review, and all the comments about how GSMarena are ‘biased’ and on the ‘payroll’ should they happen to say anything positive, at all.
From my own experience, I got this on Friday and yes there was some random heat building up for the first two days but I was doing a full iCloud restore (and I have a fair amount of data in there). Since yesterday though this appears to have calmed right down to the point where it’s just like any other iPhone.
There is still a bit more battery drain than I would like to see, at present I can’t say I’m seeing much of an improvement over my 14 Pro in terms of battery life. It’s still early days mind and I would be willing to put this down to some optimisation needed on the part of iOS 17.
What I am disappointed to read are the reports that the overall efficiency of the A17 Pro has been compromised due to early issues with TSMC’s 3nm fab process. Personally I would have preferred that Apple waited for a more mature version of this process, kept the A17 at ‘4nm’ and instead focused on improving the efficiency over the A16. Then coupled with a larger battery this 15 Pro Max could have sported some considerable gains in battery life.
Smartphone processors are already plenty powerful enough, I don’t care for extra gpu power, beyond what that might mean for applications where the gpu helps out, like in image or on device AI processing, for example. And I sure a hell don’t care one iota for ray tracing on smartphones.
I think vendors should now really focus on making SoC’s more efficient with each successive generation, maybe have single digit improvements to performance if possible, but go all out on really impressive double digit improvements to efficiency, in short make them do exactly what their predecessors did (maybe a little extra) but do it with a whole lot less power draw. And this includes Apple.
The biggest problem with the pro max is the price.. if they somewhat funded half the price of the phone ( hey, they got the money for it anyways). They could probably kill the entire competition from others. It got it all now.. usb-c,120hz, nice design, good battery, good cameras and a long software support..
I'm no apple fanboy and running pixel 7pro(love it btw).. but im just saying:p

George399, 14 hours agoThe oven also has problems while charging, that's sick and shameful.
https://twitter.com... moreIt's his fault.
My friends have iPhone 13 and 14 pro maxes, no charging problems.
[deleted post]Most of all Android highend phones uses usb c 3.2 standard 20Gbps speed so no iPhone use old slow standard its a crappy phone whit old tec inside..
uk7866, 11 hours agoSuch a beast with its 60hz display 🤣Just compare the Pro Max and normal version and tell me the difference. The interface is extremely smooth, I doubt you will be able to notice it.
George399, 13 hours agoNo, I'm using common sense, seems you have a lack of it.
People like him that makes soft... moreYeah, you totally are.
Just because someone corrects you successfully means they're brainwashed.
Didn't know that real magic exists.
-Trix-, 4 hours agoFeels like Android boys are more scared about iPhone than ever before, the better iPhones sell... moreFully agree.
Every time, when Apple become so successful despite being criticism heavily on many communities and tech YouTuber. A lot absolute android user being “feel hurt” a lot. Instead of bad reviews by others only make Apple become a lot stronger
[deleted post]It’s spelled ‘Typical’ dude.
What is it with you and labelling anyone who disagrees with you as brainwashed, lacking common sense or outright stupid? You get that says more about your own simplistic thinking and lack of maturity right?
Also, for someone who obviously is not fond of Apple you seem to want to spend all your time talking about them. Apple are living rent free in your head dude and you are totally unaware of it. It’s kinda sad.
I came from years with Android …when Apple are finally making a good phone
Lol, 12 hours agoUr a reviewer? In the sense that I bought it and am currently reviewing whether I should keep it 🤷
Feels like Android boys are more scared about iPhone than ever before, the better iPhones sell more angry and bitter Android boys are. Demand for 15 Pro Max is sky high and they know this is best phone money can buy.
